Removing stains on clothes

Stains on clothes can sometimes cause you a lot of trouble. Sometimes you are in an official business meeting or in a family party and suddenly when you drink tea or fruit juice or eat food, a stain appears on your clothes as a result of spilling them and it causes you trouble. Some stains are easy to remove, but others are much more difficult to remove than others.

Stains can be divided into five groups, which are: enzymatic, oily, oxidizable, suspended particles and a combination of the previous groups.

enzyme stain

Enzyme stains are created from organic materials such as eggs, grass, chocolate, etc. Removing these types of stains is not an easy task and it is better to remove the stain on your clothes shortly after it is created. To wash clothes contaminated with enzyme stains, you must use cold water. Another troublesome stain in the category of enzyme stains is related to grass, which penetrates the fabric and so-called wears the clothes due to its green chlorophyll.

A special category of enzyme stains is caused by rubbing chocolate on clothes. To remove these types of stains, you should never wash the clothes in the first place. Rather, you should allow the stain to dry on the clothes and then remove the stain by shaving off the chocolate left on the clothes and then clean it completely by washing the clothes once.

oily stain

Oil stains are sometimes not obvious when they first appear on clothes, but after a while, they develop dark spots, especially on light-colored clothes. To remove this stain on the clothes, you must first wipe the surface marks caused by the oil stain from the clothes with the help of a dry cloth. After that, you should wash your clothes. Sometimes the detergent is not able to remove the stains successfully and it is necessary to wash the clothes several times.

Particulate matter stain

These stains are mainly caused by contact of clothes with mud and dirt. After playing in the park and alley, most of the children return home with soiled and sometimes muddy clothes. When faced with this type of stain on the clothes, no matter how big the stains are, it is better to wait until the clothes are dry and then remove the mud left on the clothes with a razor. After that, your clothes will be clean by washing them once with a washing machine.

oxidizable stain

Light colored spots are mainly in the group of oxidizable spots. Coffee and tea stains on your clothes are examples of these stains. To remove these stains, detergents containing hydrogen peroxide should be used. Hydrogen oxide can penetrate into the chemical structure of the created stain and dissolve it in itself. In this way, by washing these stains once, you will be able to remove the stain on the clothes. Hydrogen peroxide is in the form of sodium carbonate in detergents, which is released by combining with water.

Mixed stains

These stains are actually a combination of two or more groups of the above stains. As stains caused by lipstick and tomato sauce, they are included in this category of stains. Many of this group of stains cannot be removed with just one wash with detergent. Rather, sometimes there is a need to wash them two or more times to remove these stains from your clothes.
